A cover story, quite literally.

A mother, a daughter and an everyday problem.

Dressed Up Books began as a shared project between a mother and daughter, Vera and Madalena. Thirty years apart and with different backgrounds, they came together over a very simple idea: finding a practical solution to an everyday problem.

Vera has always had a knack for spotting those little everyday problems and imagining the product that could solve them. This time, it was books: how could one cover protect different books, without having to be made for just one?

One cover. Book after book.

The answer was a reusable fabric cover that could move from one book to the next. Not made for a single title, but designed to adapt as the book changes.

We developed three sizes to accommodate different book heights, with a hidden magnetic system that adjusts the fit to different thicknesses. Practical by design, but made in fabrics and prints that make each cover feel like something you actually want to carry around.

Because books change. The cover doesn’t have to.
